This grind system demonstrates our Model TG-12×4 centerless grinder with full CNC Wheel Dressing on both work wheel and regulating wheel, CNC Ram Bed Position Control, speed control of the grinding wheel with frequency invertor, multiple language screen displays available, internet connectivity for remote access, feedback from gauge systems for automatic adjustments, BEDROCK machine bed, full enclosure with automatic and safety interlocked doors. The machine is capable of extreme close tolerance grinding of multiple diameters and transitions.

This latest version of the Royal Master High accuracy centerless grinder maintains a compact footprint and user friendly machine controls. We have advanced the electronics to provide more flexible and more robust platform for our machine and accessories controls. The BEDROCK foundation is an accurate and rigid machine.

The feeder is totally contained within the machine enclosure. The parts conveyor / carousel has a rotary table to index a part to the staging area. Each part receptacle can be 3D printed to fit the next part configuration. No more expensive tooling charges and long lead times! The part receptacle is the nest which supports and carries the individual part to the staging area. From the staging area, a pick and place jaw removes the individual part from the 3D printed nest. The jaw maneuvers the part and lowers it onto the work rest blade in the grind area. After the grind cycle completes, the finished ground part is delivered to the exit side conveyor to await retrieval or continue to the next process. The next part is placed immediately into the grind zone for fast and efficient cycle time.

The machine automatically reports its functions to the Advanced Machine Optimization (A.M.O.) cloud database. By activating the AMO feature on your Royal Master your grinder will start to report machine specific information to our secure cloud database. Receive up to date reports of how your machine is performing and have the app remind you of your PM based on time of use. Check error logs, part counts, cycle times, part numbers and more. With AMO, you can stay connected to your grinding process and receive up to date information to optimize your manufacturing process.

The ram bed position control is our high accuracy frictionless cross roller way with ball screw and servo motor movement. A glass scale with one tenth of a micron resolution reports the position to the machine controller. The HMI is 17 inch touch screen with all machine function controls. The Windows base programming is remote accessible for data report sending and diagnostic connectivity.

The wheel spindles are supported by class 7 ABEC angular contact ball bearings. This high quality rigid spindle support design yields long life with superior roundness and size control.

The machine sits on our BEDROCK Series, 8 inch thick granite with deep and wide machined coolant troughways. Rigidity and thermal stability are the benefit of this granite bed.

The full machine enclosure provides for a safe, clean and quiet environment. Direct mounted air mist filtration keeps the air clean. Electronic interlocks on door openings keep operators away from moving parts. Coolant is well contained within the enclosure and channeled troughways as it recirculates to the paper media coolant filtration system. The electrical cabinet houses all electronic hardware in a spacious, convenient and well organized enclosure.

Royal Master Grinders uses the latest in Parker machine controls. The HMI is a Parker industrial computer with Windows 7 Professional Operating System and an integrated 17 inch touch screen. The motors, drives and motion control hardware are the latest in technology with EPL connectivity. This reduces components and provides much faster communication speeds.

Keyence has partnered with us in providing a post process part measurement gauge. This has a rapid scan capability to report multiple dimensions and feed back to the grinder control for automatic compensation.

Schmitt Industries has also partnered with us in providing an SBS Dynamic Wheel Balancer with Acoustic Emission Gap Elimination and Analysis Tool. This equipment can be installed to provide the best vibration analysis and control of the grinding wheel balance and eliminating non contact dressing passes of the CNC Wheel Dressers and non contact grinding movement with each infeed grind cycle.
