TG-12×4 Servo Cycle
The TG-12×4 Servo Cycle machine is capable of Infeed as well as thrufeed grinding from .002” up to 1.5” in diameter. With its large and versatile two panel touchscreen, daily interaction with the machine is intuitive and powerful. Automation from a very basic operator assist device to robotics and post process gauging allows the system to be fully autonomous.

This is the Royal Master Grinders Model TG-12x4 with our Servo Cycle Ram Bed system. At IMTS, this machine will be infeed grinding a small gearbox part with two bearing journals. It is equipped with an automatic grinding wheel dresser and automatic part ejector.
The Servo Cycle machine features the same robust spindles and over-the-wheel servo-controlled dressers as our other TG-12×4 models. Its unique advantage lies in the Ram Bed Position Control. The large, intuitive two-panel touchscreen enhances operator productivity. The ball screw and servo motor ensure precise infeed grind cycle movement and position control for both infeed and thrufeed grinding.
Windows-based controls allow for remote data reporting, troubleshooting, and integration with automation interfaces. The machine can also be paired with post-process gauging for data feedback and collection. If your facility uses a Data Management System, Royal Master can seamlessly integrate this machine with your existing setup.
The Servo Cycle machine offers flexibility with options for either a cast iron or granite machine bed and enclosure.
The Servo Cycle System includes:
12” Diameter Grinding Wheel, 6” Diameter Regulating wheel
Variable Frequency Drive on grinding wheel spindle for super abrasives or maintaining constant surface footage when grinding.

Password protection levels on the operator interface
Programmable Infeed Cycles that can be saved and recalled with unique file names from a library
Thrufeed Grind with fine resolution positioning to 0.000,010” of an inch or 1/4-micron increments
2” of Ram Bed travel allowing for removal of Grinding Wheel
Available SBS Wheel balancing and Acoustic Emissions
